Who's Who of GAL Universe

Me - GAL - attorney for the abused, neglected, and delinquent. Just shy of forty. A runner. I like British TV. I dislike ice cream.

Doctor Girl - Daughter, almost 18. Smart. Witty. Adult in ways that I am not.

SarcasticBeauty - Daughter, 16. Loves College Boy, Cameras, and Chocolate. Not in that order. Laughs often, and makes others laugh often.

Strong-WilledChef - Daughter, 12 (or 32?). Plays violin. Cooks well. Very headstrong. Does not like patterned clothing. Keeps her room very neat.

Fashionista Athlete - Daughter, 11. Has own sense of style, mostly layering things over jeans and wearing heels prematurely. Loves basketball and trail runs. Lovey Dovey.

RunningMan - Older than dirt, or at least, older than me. Witty. Makes me laugh. Comes with daughters of his own, two, so that we form an all estrogen Brady Bunch. Match.com is to blame.

VolleyballGirl - SteppishDaughter, age 15. She plays middle, by God, or no one is happy. Highly strung. Slightly spoiled. Good with kids, and likes them generally. Never far from her phone.

Dog - is a dog. Ours for three years, she poops in the house when stressed, loves to run with me in the cold, and comes to us from LawSchoolHusband (not to be confused with my ex, who did not go to law school).

HippieMama - SteppishDaughter, age 20, not in the home. She lives in the house that RunningMan abandoned to live with me. She's having a baby soon. We all think she will be a fabulous mom. She makes hula hoops for fun.
